The VECTR Center provides career advisement and counseling for all 29 University System of Georgia schools and 22 Technical College System of Georgia schools. In addition, in-residence courses are taught on site by Middle Georgia State University and Central Georgia Technical College (see Programs).
VECTR advisors will:
Testing: On-site services to include both paper-and-pencil tests and computer-administered standardized tests needed for admission, distance learning, workforce development, credentials, and licenses. Click here for testing information.
Counseling: Resiliency Officer on staff who serves as a liaison to counseling outreach programs and community resources for transitioning military, veterans or their families as they seek services from the VECTR Center in order to enter Georgia’s postsecondary institutions or the civilian workforce.
Georgia Department of Veteran Service Officers counsel and assist veterans in all matters pertaining to veterans benefits, from determining eligibility for earned benefits to gathering documents and information required to support benefits claims to following claims and they wind through the VA system.
